“We all have two lives. The second one starts when we realize that we only have one.” Pavan is a “creative revolution" that the education world has witnessed!
My second life started when I was 20 years of age, My journey starts from a corporate job in IBM to start our first dream venture called “Achieve Academy” an after school tutorial for 10th-grade children of Karnataka in the year 2006. Achieve academy today has an alumnus of 750 children + from various schools. Achieve Academy today has helped children discover themselves and has bought in new confidence in children to explore and learn.We are proud to mention that we have moved out of rote methods of learning.
Proud to be one among the very few kinesthetic math teachers in INDIA. We use the most creative techniques to present mathematics , along with use of equipment, games, activities, group interactions , flashcards and technology to teach math. This results in children to explore the subject, eventually increase their grades too. While many children have the phobia of the very word math . We work with them to ensure that they love math after they interact with us. We firmly believe ‘any child can learn any concept if they are in the right environment with a growth mindset’.
Having soon understood that our methods and techniques presented a different world for children in education, our observation was that we resulted in a huge increase in the learning curves of children and got them to increase 30% grades for children when the same was applied only for 2 hours a day. This understanding gave birth to ‘Achieve school of education’ and made me probably the youngest secretary of a school.
‘Achieve School Of Education’ was created and founded by me in the year 2011. This is India’s first and only studio school. ASOE offers a child- centric approach to education and is designed to make a difference in education by creating free thinkers. The 4-year-old school is an inclusive institution. ASOE hosts 450 children from the age of 2 years to grade 10. which is the maximum capacity of the school. Our teachers who follow our strategies have made learning fun, easy and enjoyable experience. Our children do not need any remedial sessions after school which is going to be their play time !
We today have 400 plus parents who have attended my workshops and have found that by applying our strategies , their view and results have changed much better than before. Imagine if we could build and sustain a growth environment where your child will crave for more knowledge , the child will want to read more and try more, low scores, not being interested in class boring lessons will only be a thing in the past ! After addressing over 10000 students and working closely with respect to mathematics with 750 students plus , any child can learn math. Mathematical thinking is entirely different from methods and processes present in text books.
Though formal education made only a little difference in my life , the turning point for me in my life was Toastmasters . Toastmasters is a worldwide leadership and communication forum and helped me move from being an average performer to a hungry learner. With only 10 projects away am only a step far from being conferred the ‘Distinguished Toastmaster’ which is the highest award of Toastmasters International. My acquired certifications are handwriting analysis , Grapho therapy , 3D max Animation.
Am currently pursuing my Master of Arts from Northanmpton university , England in Special education and inclusion. PhD in mathematics is something on my mind for a long time on my mind and hopefully it materializes soon.
My humbleness and motivation to contribute more was boosted when AVOPA conferred an award during AVOtech2012 In the field of ‘primary education and giving it entirely a new dimension’ . Youth achievement award by yuvamahotsava by Member of parliament in Bangalore central constituency. It gives us immense pleasure to mention that our Achieve school of education was presented with a title of “inclusive school” by brindavan education center that caters to special children in the society.
Inspiration to my energy is from my paternal grandfather shri ramalingam who was an entrepreneur in the trading of silk business , my heart pours out to contribute when I hear stories about my maternal grand father who was conferred the Padmashri from our Late prime minister Indira Gandhi for his social service. My parents are my role models who have nurtured this individual who is now a contributor to the society !
My strategies and views on education must reach all places of the world. Currently am an upcoming author of a book called “straight A” .This book is full of ideas for adults with a creative dimension to understand the systems of education and help children get better grades through better learning practices which eliminates rote learning.
Children need to be handled in a better way than what they are subjected to today ! they are put under a system that grades decide their worth ! Education was never meant to be a pain . Initially when I started out of passion I realized that children need to change , but it was later that I understood that their environment , teachers and parents belief systems that have an impact on children. My revolution includes to bring in a mindset change in the environment and not fixing the child. With this belief today we respect the childs world the way it is and would love to contribute to make a difference to the environment of children.

Mathematical thinking is entirely different from methods and processes present in text books. Today we talk about education , children and methods to enhance learning on various forums like Toastmasters, Rotary and corporate like Infosys , Honeywell ,Target and many more corporate. My seminars for parents and teachers have been present in more than 80 schools in Bangalore.
Parents need to get a better understanding of the current system. We present few techniques and strategies which are non rote method based , the whole life of the child changes with increased curiosity , experimentation and exploration. These factors result in better grades for children with ease and learning of concepts.
ACADEMICS
VET School
Pavan graduated from VET School in Bangalore, India. He served as a school captain, founded the alumni association, and conducted several interscholastic competitions. He excelled in many activities including volleyball and public speaking.
Christ University
Following graduation, Pavan attended Christ University for two years where he studied business, accounting, statistics, and mathematics. He also served in the National Cadet Corps, an organization affiliated with Christ University.
Jain University
Pavan completed his Bachelors Degree in business management at Jain University. As a student, he had the privilege of coaching 120 students in the field of public speaking. His research project was entitled, “Financial Instrumentation of Ratios in a Balance Sheet.”
Toastmasters International
As a member of the Toastmasters International, a communication and leadership organization, Pavan coached, sponsored, and mentored club members in Bengaluru. He actively participates in the LA1924 Toastmasters Club that meets every Wednesday at 7 PM. Pavan has earned the Advanced Communicator Silver Award and has served as the Area Governor under which four community clubs were mentored and guided.
Arena Animation
Pavan completed the AAASP Diploma Course from Arena Animation. Having studied Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, CorelDraw, and 3D Max, he uses these software packages for his teaching and training activities.
Handwriting Institute of India
Pavan also completed the advanced course in the science of handwriting from the premiere Handwriting Institute of India. As a certified handwriting analyst and graphologist, he has analyzed more than 500 handwriting samples.
Northampton University
Currently, Pavan is pursuing his Masters of Arts degree in special education and inclusion at Northampton University.
FAMILY
I am blessed to be the son of Sri R. Chandrashekar and Nagavalli. My dad was an entrepreneur and my mom was a homemaker. Together, they provided me with a rich childhood experience and everything that a boy could desire.
I am happily* married to Soumya and every day I am excited to interact with my 3 year-old daughter Kavana. My sister Pranitha is a fabric designer and is happily married to Chandan.My family’s background has always played a big role in my own personal and professional growth.
My paternal grandfather Ramalingam came from a small town near Bangalore. With very little money, he established a Rekha silk saree factory with sheer determination, hardwork, and dedication.
My maternal grandfather, Krishnaiah Shetty, was a social worker who worked to improve the lives of Harijans. His was recognised by the erstwhile Mysore King and was given the title, “Loka Seva Niratha.” In1965, the country recognised his work and awarded him the “Padmashree,” the fourth highest civilian honour in our country. He was the first recipient of this prestigious award from the Arya Vysya community. My grandfather was popularly known as “Dinkson”. Sir Mirza Ismail gave him this name.
